You could take the train to hicksville if the train stops there it usually does 2 to 3 time a day then from hicksville to port Jeff. If it doesn't stop at hicksville then to Jamaica and then back to port jeff
The train ride is over 4 hours and you have to transfer at Jamaica and get off at port Jeff station if you don't want to spend $180 for the uber I'll do it for $150. Call me 516-510-9742
