Im pretty sure/almost positive that you can depending on how busy they are. If there are a lot of rifle and few handgun shooters there (which is unlikely in my experience), they would probably ask that you do your handgun shooting in the pistol range.
If you are shooting your pistol past fifty yards it is allowed otherwise you need to use the pistol range.
Pistol shooting on the rifle range is limited to distances greater than 50yrds, and must be cleared by an RSO. We appreciate not wanting to switch bays, but our goal is to keep the shooting environments as consistent as possible, and putting a first time shooter with a 22 pistol in a lane next to an AR-15 can be intimidating (not that this never happens, but that's why the policy exists).
Handgun shooting is best done in the bay designed for that unless it's a scoped pistol and you plan on shooting farther than 50 yards. It doesn't cost to switch from one bay to the other.
I was told last time I was there that you could not shoot pistols on the rifle range because the bullets were skipping off the floor.
Yes. Just tell front desk u can just bring 9mm. Out door range is cheaper.
