The city manages freedom hall and they do not seek entertainment. They occasionally will have a Concert or Circus. I understand these entertainments are not sought but rather ask to come to freedom hall. There used to be a a promoter some years back. I have seen many a good concert in the 80s and early 90s. The city has considered selling and giving it to ETSU. It is a shame considering if the city were to sell it, they would need another large building down the road costing tax payers Money. The city uses it now for fourth of July fireworks and occasionally for other things.
Its a waste of a perfectly good concert venue. Sad to see it rarely used
