All checks are verified before they cash them. I've had pay checks cashed in the thousands no problem pay the 6 bucks out of the check n the cash u the rest. I've had other pay checks get denied for who nos why n have to go to my credit union n wait the 5 days for it to clear. I believe the 6 dollar max fee is applied to paychecks, personal checks, 3rd party checks, I'm not sure how they work money orders.
