Wheelchair accessible entrance to each facility is through Plaza de la Cruz, which is like a courtyard south of the Cathedral sanctuary building and north of the City Centre building. When San Fernando Cathedral had preservation/restoration of its painted interior surfaces of the sanctuary, it chose to remove some oews so that people are not relegated to one row or section. You can take your chair right up to a shorter pew right next to family or friends using a pew, in several places in the sanctuary. Really, the inclusive thinking that led to this is a model for many others! There is only one accessible stall in the restroom, and the traffic flow to the sin and door is problematic because there are often people waiting in line to use the restroom. Main Plaza in front of the Cathedral was found not to meet minimum accessibility standards after the City if San Antonio installed it in 2010; so a better route is to use the sidewalk behind the Cathedral.
I think so too.
I think it is wheel chair accessible
