They will put the cat to sleep if and when they are severely ill and it would be inhumane to keep them alive any longer. However, as it has been stated, they are a No Kill Shelter. They do not euthanize for cases of overpopulation in the shelter or when the animal is slightly ill. If you have an animal that you feel needs to be euthanized, they will encourage you to take lengths to either work with the animal or rehome them before bringing your animal to LHS.
Their website says they offer euthanasia services for $40 as well as cremation services. If you go to their website, click on Services at the top then select Pet End of Life Services for more information.
