Depending on the type of case, some patients can get their braces the same day. Patients who require early treatment with mouth appliances will take a little longer since the appliance has to be made in the lab. :)
My daughter had a consultation about two weeks ago and it looks like it's going to be another 2-3 weeks before she has anything attached
It all depends on the person. My oldest son had to have work before braces. That took a year.
