I live in Virginia can I get the training in Tennessee and still be able to carry a concealed gun in both states ?

Ms. Durham...great question. Yes, we are certified to train folks from Virginia. Once you complete the course, you will be able to go to the courthouse in the county you reside and apply. Once you get your Virginia permit it will be honored in Tennessee. One thing to remember anytime you go out of your home state, the laws differ from state to state and you have to abide by the laws of the state you are carrying your handgun in. Thanks!! You should be able to get a permit in VA, Im pretty sure TN honors VA handgun permit
