See when I was younger there was a skating rink over there and there was a merry-go-round and a hamburger you would climb up into and across to the other side was another hamburger. There also was these rocking chairs that were animals you would rock back and forth on.They even had monkey bars and seesaws.
You can possibly check through the Staten island advance. It used to be a military air strip from what I've heard.
The biggest change came from the 60s to the 70s. Prior the 70s it was a military air field. Photos of that period shouldn't be hard to find, but l don't have any. From the 70s to present day, not much has changed however...
