I'm not really sure if the regular pool, or the kiddie pool is open yet from renovation. I would suggest that you call the park service office, and they will be able to answer your questions with accuracy.

It wont be open this year, they are remodeling and it'll be ready until 2019
No it is not, doesn't open until Memorial Day, and its currently being remodeled
