I just turned 18 couple of months ago and I was told I would be in the children's facility, but unfortunately instead they placed me in the progress unit and sent me to the recovery unit my first night after I begged for my clothes, which eventually escalated to yelling, and that is when I was transferred :( There are constant fights and personal attacks all the time, and the staff is NOT quick to stop it. I suggest you choose a different facility, and if you are already there/ have been before. I am/will be praying for you. You do not want to be there.
I was in the adolescent Ward years ago and I myself got rowdy and they placed me in quarantine, they don't allow things to get that way and watch you so closely they know if it is going to get out of hand. It's a really good treatment center I have been to several years ago and this was by far the best
When I was there years ago I never witnessed any physical alterations between patients. There was one girl who got a little out of control and they placed her in the quarantine room and gave her a mild sedative though. Minor bickering and empty threats were the worst ya really heard. Things can always change though and everyone is different.
The adolescent ward
It depends which ward you're in. But things definitely can get tense. I saw tantrums and yelling but not any physical altercations.
