Will you accept #5 plastic prescription bottles for recycling? If so, do we do anything differently or simply toss in can?

Please do not flush your medications as it gets into the water system. Take them to the police or fire dept. They have boxes that will go to the appropriate place for disposal.

With prescription containers of any kind, we insist that you flush any remaining medications there may be, remove all labels, all forms of identification from the containers before you recycle or even throw them in the garbage. This is for everyone's safety. Regarding the recycling of number five plastics, please remove the lids from all containers and please recycle number five plastics.
