Add organic matter such as peat moss, manure, etc.
Compost. Spread 2-3 inches, till it, then another 2-3 inches to keep the weeds down. Every year spread 2-3 inches but don't till. Just keep piling it on. The worm action is important but they don't do well with tilling. I recommend tucker lawn care. He sells a good compost for 20$ a yard. His location is on the west side of Lindon. Google it
Sometimes these products are called soil builders. I don't have the option to rotate where I place my tomatoes, so my soil is always tired. I end up using a soil builder (and basic liquid fertilizer if necessary) then turning all the soil over.
