Call the main Clerk's office at the courthouse (303-659-1161) and ask them what you should do. Have your case number with you when you call, as they will probably ask for it.

It depends if your case is a felony or misdemeanor and if your on bond or not on bond. If you are on a bond you are 100% have to appear or there will be a warrant for your arrest. You can go to the court and add on the docket and bring a consent of Surety with you when you do appear. If you're not on Bond and you do not appear you can add on and they will probably reinstate your citation and give you a new court date or give you a PR Bond and give you a new court date. Not having a ride to the courthouse is not a valid excuse not to appear in court. You can contact RTD and they will tell you how to get to the courthouse on the bus. Good luck on your court case. I hope everything works out very well.
