Here's my situation. I bought a vehicle from a former friend. He signed the title under buyer and seller on accident. I haven't signed yet because I don't want it becoming invalid. He wrote me a bill of sale too am I gonna have troub registering??

Hi there. Just checked with our team: 1. The insurance needs to be in the name of the person who is buying the vehicle, not the previous owner. If the buyer is only titling it, we would not need insurance. 2. The seller can sign a DR2444 statement of fact > error affidavit. That will allow the buyer to complete their title.
