I live in Lakewood & I was able to get an account. A friend of mine that is in Westminster uses DPL. I got a sticker that went on to my Lakewood Public Library card. You do have to pick up your books or whatever from a Denver Public Library. Some libraries allow you to return at non-Denver libraries, but your checked out items may not be considered checked in until they are received by DPL. If you want to have books from other libraries that you check out from your library, ask about Prospector library loans.
