Think it’s kind of dumb that they are open only during working hours. Defeats the purpose of a DIY garage. Especially when they wrap up at 4. Hope it changes soon. As of now I think it’s wasted space.

Army skill centers are suffering from this too, they will soon figure out that the skill center not only helps the service member with cost of repair and maintenance but also with.... wait wait for it...MORALE!

They are open from 0800 to 1700 Tuesday thru Saturday. As James said they are cutting funding to them so they cur hours to stay open

All around the Navy higher ups are cutting funding to these Auto Skills centers by either cutting daily hours or even taking a whole day or more out of the week. I know when i was there back in 2015 this was not the case. They closed around 6 or 7 depending on weekday or weekend.
