I guess
There is nothing out of pocket involved with Albright. Everything is covered 100%. However if a person goes long-term in a nursing facility whether with Albright or Medicare/Medicaid the government assigns a co-payment to pay for part of nursing home care. Usually it is the entire social security check minus $45 per month for incidentals. I'm not sure about what your parents did. I know the government will look at finances for the past 5 years. When a person dies any life insurance will be paid back to Medicaid for services rendered when in a nursing home.
