Maybe be upfront about your costs to the people you're selling to? Great-grandparents were lied to by a representative, said no cost or stress would come to them. A few months after their passing the family receives a bill of 112k. We saw no paperwork about this when cleaning out the estate. So no cost or stress to them, but toss the family in debt? Shady business practice for shady people.

How do I find out if this falls under the state medicaid estate recovery program? That is where people sign away all their rights to their estate upon their death to.pay back.the services received. My parents did this with out talking to me.

Yes medical assistance. Must be deemed nursing home certified eligible by the office on aging. Must be 55 years or older. The goal is to keep people living at home as long as possible rather than being placed in a nursing home. Must live in Lebanon County. There are other offices in Lancaster and Lycoming. Must give up ones doctor and be treated by Albright doctor. Must give up any secondary insurance as Albright becomes the insurance company as well as a provider of care.
