the gift cards they sell at Walmart are a scam, be very careful when you buy them, they deposit money and steal it without having to activate the cards, buy one, deposit 40 dollars and they stole it right there and you call by TLF and they don't

I’ve bought gift cards at Walmart before never had any problems at all with them my boss also buy’s 300.00 dollars of gift cards he never had a problem with them

I've purchased gift cards from Walmart frequently, but never have I had the money stolen... You should have received a receipt when you purchased the card. If, when you try to use card, and find no money on card, you call either the store where purchased, or a corporate office number. They should be able to track your card and find the problem. It might be helpful to have whoever sold you the card to make a photo copy of card and receipt, copy the card # on the receipt, and have them sign the receipt somewhere. Then, if the funds are missing, you have the backup to fight them... Good luck!
