If my friend and I (we are both 14) want to see an R rated movie after 6, can we? I have checked Showcase Cinema'a website multiple times saying that we can without someone 18 and older, it clearly says "UNDER 14"

I can see why their website might be confusing. Showcase has an admittance age policy along with the MPAA rating system. Even if you are over 17, you won't be admitted to Super Lux shows after 6 pm unless you are also 21+. For LuxLite showings, patrons under 14 must be accompanied by someone over 18. These restrictions are for all movies, even G rated. The MPAA restrictions for R rated movies also apply, so that anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult.
