I need mashed potatoes made for Thanksgiving that will accommodate 26 to 30 people. Some people are lactose intolerant therefore regular milk and regular butter cannot be used. Lactaid milk is good. Is it possible to make?

I make mashed potatoes all the time using either a chicken broth or lactaid milk. Both come out great. If your asking if Stew Leonard's can make them for you, just call your local store and speak to a manager. Good luck.

You could also use vegetable or chicken broth in place of milk

You can make mashed potatoes with chicken broth. No need to use butter or milk. I changed it years ago, no one tasted the difference
