I know the tickets provide access to both haunts, however, what I am confused about is whether that mean I can get into both with a single ticket for the night or if I HAVE to buy 2 tickets. Can someone please shed some light on this for me?

One tickets is for both haunts. I went last week, I would suggest doing speed pass

Yes it's one ticket for both houses per person. If you've someone else that wants too go in with you you have to get another ticket
