If you have yr cdl. Then your just testing out in atl but they will send u. To the closest school near you but I recommend western express the experience is not like swift at all swift was nice and all just. Don't care about you getting miles at all they r quick to fire people over the dash can bull ship. Those guys that review dash cams r liars I don't see where is it that if they are suppose to help us why do they watch you everyday n report the bullship and then after three strikes you're fired and he goes on your report I quit before any of that happened because how do you keep a safe distance while there's traffic when everybody and their mother decides to jump in front of you and cut you off and then your clock is running and you're supposed to break to keep a good following distance people see that space they still jumping so how are you getting three strikes and you're fired for not having enough space between your truck and another vehicle when they just jumped into your lane
No you are not locked in
160 driving academy is where they sent me. But you will still have 200 hours of training with a Swift mentor. They give you choices during the 3 day orientation. Male or female, smoking or non smoking. I upgraded to my own truck in Memphis. But the big terminals have their own CDL schools. West Valley Utah (Salt Lake), Phoenix, Memphis and a few others. Its not all peaches and cream, but they pay if you do what you are supposed to. Its a learning experience for new drivers. But if they pay to get ypur CDL you are locked in to drive for them for 1 year at 37.50 a week out of your pay.
No not all terminals have schools within them. They would give you options of which state you would like to train in
They may send you to Memphis.
In some terminals they have classes, i'm not sure if It's all of them.
