For a market located in the downtown area, I think they are priced correctly.
Constantino's on W9th is like the mini-Heinen's convenience-style grocery store you've always wanted but didn't know it. They have a fair amount of upscale organic drinks and snacks, and you'll pay more just like you would at a lot of places. When it comes to necessities, it's great that they have them when you're in a pinch or just lazy, but you're not going to stop going to Costco (if that's what you do). As others have stated, it's all priced about right for the area, and if some things are a little more than at your 1000-store suburb grocery chain, so what? If you're shopping Constantino's, you're likely walking downstairs or just a couple blocks to it. Plus, you don't have to spend half of your life roaming the aisles trying to find what you need.
Higher prices than suburban grocery stores, as you would expect for urban store. But quality is high.
I would say they are reasonably priced for the area that they are in.
When it comes to the hot foods and prepared foods, I think they are priced well. Never shopped for anything else besides that so can't comment on products pricing
Surprisingly reasonable for the location. Not "Whole foods" expensive.
Agree with above for the convenience not bad
Somewhat, for the area it is probably priced accordingly
Somewhat.. It's not somewhere you would want to use as a substitute for your weekly grocery store. Nothing outrageous though
Like many grocery stores, some items are higher than competitors, while other items, like those in sale, are better. Be sure you get a shopper card to earn points ($ back)
