Charge your meal to a credit card next time if you have that option. If they make you wait for an unreasonable amount of time and refuse to provide a refund, leave and dispute the charge with your bank. Worked great for me at Taco Bell when I was barricaded in their drive through for 35 minutes only to have them mess up the order radically. They refused a refund and wanted me to wait another 15 all while my 4 year old with Autism was having a meltdown and trying to self-harm. No thank you. Charge back baby! Money's back in my pocket and I've never gone back since.
