The iphone 6 is no longer manufactured by apple and is only produced by Apple if the phone is being replaced through an apple service. 2018 is the last year Apple will produce/ sell parts for the iphone 6, 6 plus, 6s, and 6s plus. So make sure if your battery tested bad you take advantage of the battery replacement plan sometime this calendar year.
