I am mixed, black and Puerto Rican. My hair is VERY textured and just about shoulder length. I am in the military and need an updo for the ball next month. I am looking to get it straightened & updo. Do your stylists have experience with mixed hair?

My stylist at New Image is Rubie and she has quite a diversity of clients. She is African American with beautiful long hair and everyone who leaves her chair looks great. My hair is very straight and limp and she has taught me how to work with it. I highly recommend her.

I would go to ULTA in Springfield maybe ask for Betty or Mina. Or, go to Ulta Falls Church ask for the Salon Manager. Been to all with my curly texture and they are all experienced. BTW: salon mgr at falls church does hair.
