Does CareFirst Blue Choice cover both Quest and LapCore for bloodwork? Or which one?

Hi Suzanne! Yakina is correct. If you have an HMO policy you'll want to use Labcorp for any blood work, but if you have BlueChoice Advantage and are outside of the CareFirst service area (MD, DC and Northern VA), then you can feel free to use any PPO lab. As always feel free to call the number on back of your ID card if you need any additional clarification.

If you have a Blue Choice policy, you are required to use Lab Corp. I would highly recommend you log into your My Account (if a member) to locate the nearest participating Lab Corp or call into Member Services to get more specifics about your plan and its benefits.
