Does the shelter loan live traps. We have a cat that is staying in our yard it has a collar on but no tags. They cat is skiddish. We've asked neighbors if the cat belongs to them or anyone they know but nothing.The cat crys all night

Instead of animal control where they put the animal to sleep why not try watermelon ranch

They cant loan out traps to individuals, but they will send an animal control officer down to set a trap and take the cat back to the shelter

How does cat look?

Whatever is best for the cat we don't want the cat harmed or put down. Just want to see if it's fixed and microchipped so it can be returned to its owner. I will try Watermelon Ranch as well. Thanks.
