Do the high fly. It really adds a nice ending to the experience.
The high fly just takes you a couple of feet higher than the standard. Besides, depending on your son's level of comfort and experience with heights, the standard may be enough. But yeah, definitely get the pictures. You'll have laughable moments for years to come if you take this memory home.
Standard is probably fine for the first time.
You should definitely get pictures, that's the best way for your kid to brag to his friends. :) As for high fly, if he wants to do it then go for it, but that really depends on whether being up (a bit) higher will freak him out.
