You would have to ask them. Primarily, they don't want you walking around the work area because of insurance issues. But if you are handicapped, have children you don't want to get out or whatever, I'll bet they would let you stay in the vehicle.
I've never had to get out of my truck during any time they changed my oil. They're pretty good at what they do. They even have high mileage synthetic blend valvoline oil.
You can for most of the time. Just have to get out for like 1 min
