Hi Joe, I am suprised you would react like you did after the years we have worked with you and you were always happy with our business practices. The BRAND New bike you were looking at that we have always had priced at $209 with a full factory warranty. Not a used bike on offer up with no warranty. You would not have a reasonable conversation with me about a possible miscomunication on the price of the bike. My main issue was you walked up to my nephew who has been working with us for over 5 years and insisted he quoted you $109 on the bike the day before and he was trying to scam you by changing the price. The problem was my nephew was not working the day you initially came in so it was not possible for him to quote you any price, and you made him feel very uncomfortable with the way you were treating him and insisted it was him that you were working with.We appologize for the miscommunication, C&S
I wouldn't do business with them ever again. After being a customer for years the owner came within 2 words of flat out calling me a liar. I never before tried to bargain with him but this one time. I was in the day before to inquire about a stationary bike and his employee of years gave me a price of $109(there was no price tag) the next day I walked in and asked if he would take $100 and behold there was a price tag for $209 (which you can buy brand new on Amazon for less than 200) He insisted that tag was on there the day before and I said No Way! and sure enough after looking at his camera I was correct but he insisted there was no way his prize employee would have quoted me the lower price. I left and looked at offerup and found the exact same bike for $80. Saved $20 of my offer to him and realized what kind of business I was dealing with. I always try to buy from the little guy but sometimes it just doesn't pay.
