I misplaced my receipt but I made my purchase with my debit card. Would they be able to look up my purchases and put my money back in my card?

Of this I'm not really sure but I'm pretty sure if you know the date that you purchased it because it'll tell you if you purchased it with your card or not if you call and check your transactions you can actually get that done they're not really too much of a stickler about that
