The Hiley family of dealerships is a 100% locally owned family business that has sold more than 300,000 vehicles around the country. Founder, Randy Hiley, first moved to Fort Worth, Texas, in 1967 to work for his uncle, Dub Shaw, a Fort Worth Ford Dealer. He worked there for several years and then went to work for local competition Charlie Hillard. He worked with Hillard for 14 years, where he later became the vice president of over seven franchises.
James Hiley. He came to America in 1988 with a dream of being a car dealership owner. His then wife decided she couldn't follow this foolish pipe dream and left him for a man named John Huffines. He was left in a new country to raise his 17 children and knew what he must do. He began flipping cars as a means to amass enough fortune to stay a franchise and low and behold he was successful. He never looked back and became one of the premier players in the car sales business. He still reports for duty everyday at 6 AM.
