They do a lot more than that! They prepare you for the interview. You do mock interviews. They assist with the hard interview questions like how to answer questions like "What do you consider your strength & weakness?" They alao show you how to mirror what employees are looking for by using those key words in your resume. They also help you condense your resume to a more desirable and effective format based on the type of job you are lookingg to acquire! I love DFSD! Mrs. Lauren Freeman the owner is the best! She speaks with you. She makes you feel confident & secure. Her assistants and volunteers all have wonderful spirits & want to see you succeed!
yes, the Dress for Success Dallas location has an excellent career center with experienced and knowledgeable volunteers who can assist with resumes and mock interviewing. Additionally DFSD has community partners who share available job openings. Unless you are a veteran, you will need to call for an appointment on Monday, Wednesday or Friday from 10 am - 3 pm.
