I had my CDL per-mit from Columbus Ohio but it expired..the DMV said I can't try for my CDL A per-mit till 2020 so can I even come to kllm in Texas to obtain my CDL A???

You need to contact Dept. Of Public Safety. I think think it's the key that you just need to transfer your license to a texas license and go test for the class a permit but you need to contact DPS about that. Not trashing this place cause they helped me get my permit but 4 days away from my test for my cdl they kicked me out for something really stupid. They kicked out a bunch of classmates for unspecific reasons. I've talked to too that went on the road for their training and they quit. Look around at various companies doing exactly what this one offers and make the best decision for yourself. I came to San Antonio and am doing quit well now.
