Pay is good, getting off on time depends on the call volume, uniforms are provided to you in orientation after getting measured, calls a day on an average 12 hour BLS ambulance I ran anywhere from 4-6 calls a shift but it all depends on call volume. Most of the BLS calls are returns to nursing homes or psyche calls with occasionally an emergency call here and there. Overall it's a good place to work
Pay is good benefits are excellent and some times you get held over we pick up patients everywhere from hospital to nursing homes and dropping them off to home nursing homes rehabs and nursing rehabs
