We do accept clients who are already taking Methadone but we do not prescribe Methadone. We work with the client and their prescriber to continue the Methadone treatment. We can also connect individuals to other Medication Assisted Programs while in our programs. However, our goal through clinical counseling/therapy is to assist the client in their recovery with the ultimate goal of being substance free and that includes Methadone.
Yes, I am a recovering addict for cocaine. Unfortunately, from what I seen there, get off that methadone quick ... They will continue to let you have it ... I just feel it is a setup for failure.
