They violated HIPPA laws by sharing personal things that were said in "closed group" when I had nobody listed to share with. This is an illegal practice and they shouldn't be licensed. The "counselors" were unprofessional and at times, borderline abusive. If you aren't in group, you're eating, watching a movie, smoking, or in your room. I got clean on my own after leaving early in spite of what happened there and I am still going strong over a decade later. This place wants your money to fill beds. That is all that they care about. I would highly reccomend that you look for another place for your recovery. Your LIFE is on the line and I wouldn't recommend anyone putting their lives in these people's hands. 700 views and counting...

Amazing place! The staff gave me HOPE, when I was doing what I called, "the last chance dance". I'd had the gift of sobriety and couldn't get it back. The counselors aren't there for the money, that's for sure! They have a wonderful team that really cares, MANY are sober thrmselves. The majority have decades of sobriety. My poinst is, they know what they are doing and what is best for us when we don't. I celebrated 2 years, one day at a time in April. I recommend LSSI to anyone that is serious about getting and STAYING sober. Laura M.

Hi Christopher, thanks for your interest in LSSI! Residents pay an $8 phone fee. This gives each resident 2 phone calls per day for the entire duration of their stay. Yes, all of our alcohol/drug treatment programs are open. Please call us at 833.610.LSSI (5774) to schedule an intake.
We do accept clients who are already taking Methadone but we do not prescribe Methadone. We work with the client and their prescriber to continue the Methadone treatment. We can also connect individuals to other Medication Assisted Programs while in our programs. However, our goal through clinical counseling/therapy is to assist the client in their recovery with the ultimate goal of being substance free and that includes Methadone.
Starting on November 1, 2019, visiting hours are on Saturdays only. Family education is from 1-2PM. Regular visits are from 2-3:30 PM. Previously, our only hours for visits were on Thursday nights, but we changed it to Saturdays after hearing feedback that this is generally an easier day for most families.
