Timberline Knolls is a shorter term facility (usually several weeks to a couple months, sometimes up to 6 months, rarely longer). It also bills insurance, it is not a facility that would be paid for with something like a state grant or special education funding. It's possible for a child with this diagnosis to be treated at TK, it's also possible a different facility would be more appropriate.
No, it's not a placement facility. It's a long term treatment Facility for eating disorders and co-occuring disorders. I'm sorry about your daughters.
Please call them and ask because I don't know. They are very helpful
I believe so. They were very helpful answering questions over the phone for me. Good luck.
