Yes but it's simple. Just call your doctor they'll do the referral if needed. If you have a hospice care provider in mind tell the doctor you want that hospice care provider. You also don't have to settle for one referral. You can have multiple interviews with hospice providers to chose who you want. There are several in the area. VNA though is the only one with their own hospice house facility if and when a patient needs it. Others use nursing homes and retirement centers.
