They don't, but it's pretty scummy if you do. I understand if you bring like a water and some chips but don't go in there with a couple of pizzas, support local business.
Sometimes they do just shine a light in the car but the dont do a thorough check. If its out then they will say something but not typically
No but I wouldn't be blatantly obvious there's food in the car
