I'm a veteran with PTSD that suffers from chronic major depressive disorder that I've had for years. Is this treatment covered by the VA? If not what do I need to do to get treated.? All my diagnosis are documented.

Hello Mr. Hughes, Thank you for reaching out to the KHWCT. Dr. Hill spends an hour in consultation with patients and explains in detail how Ketamine helps to treat mood disorders like PTSD. He will explain what an infusion is like and what to expect during your infusion. The first step is to call our office and set up an appointment for consultation with Dr. Hill. He has treated many veterans with PTSD with good results. All veterans and their immediate family members receive a 10% discount for Ketamine infusion. We have had some Veterans to have their infusion paid for by their insurance carrier. Again, thanks for considering the KHWCT to help you on your journey to wellness. We can be reached at 972.212.4347.

Not sure but I know some insurance programs are offering support. However I hear they are only paying for outpatient doses, and only 8 of them. There are over 50 different ketamine clinics in Dallas according to dr. Hill. I'm sure you could find some better pricing somewhere else, but I recommend this place no doubt. Dr. Hill is a professional, and believe me when your at your peak of one of these infusions you don't want anything to happen that could add to your PTSD. Dosing is everything, and dr. Hill has it down. I too suffer from PTSD however I wish there were a differentiation in the types. Mine for example stems from a house fire and waking up to my ceiling falling down on me. But war.... I feel there is no comparison. I can tell you this, in New Mexico the ketamine clinic offers payment of 325 per infusion maybe price match if ask? The goal is to get 5-6 1hr infusions in the shortest time period possible but I think its recommended if not required to take a day off in between.
