Definitely go in person to customer service and ask for the hiring manager. They will direct you from this point. Going in person allows Home Depot to associate a name with your face. This manner also shows you have incentive and that the proposed job opening is important to you. It's okay to tell them this as well. It also gives you the opportunity to put your best foot forward. A good idea to separate yourself from any other job applicants is to review their website. Find out and write down things like: Where is there headquarters located? What is the name of their president/CEO? How many years in business? The local store # of the location . Try to memorize two or three of these, if you can. This way, you can honestly say you have done some research on the company. Lastly, dress appropriate and remember to relax (take 2 - 3 deep breathes) before meeting the manager.
They allow you to do an application on line and you can call and check the status or even better print the application and take it to them in person, also it's good to bring your resume in addition to the application. Good luck!
some places are on line only?
Manager
The best person to talk to would be the store manager.
