Gates open daily at 7am. Sunday through Thursday exhibits and concessions are open 10am-9pm. Friday and Saturday is 10am-10pm. The midway games and rides vary daily, but most are usually up by 10am.
I think you can go as early at 9 but not everything is open till 10. I like going at 9 because there are not a lot of people. My first stop is the craft building.
Things start up at 10am, but gates open early around 7.
Yes we went early. Not packed. Easy to maneuver. Fivish they start coming in. Sundays are best

Gates are open earlier but not much open until 9am. Do the chevy drive event first for no crowds. It opens at 9am inside gate 11
