I went for the fair. The State Fair of Texas is an institution. Not the cattle sale. Ride the train, don't try to park there. And DO NOT park in the surrounding neighborhood, if you value your car, your safety, your loved ones.

There's plenty of police activity in the area. The people that operate parking are very organized and I'm sure watch over the cars. They have to. Otherwise they'll lose business. But if you don't want to waste time looking for parking it's best to use DART.

It was supposed to be an observation, nut a question. I've lived here 50 years. I don't have any questions, the fair park neighborhood is dangerous. People who are visiting need advice.
