Went to a game this past Sunday. Bought tickets a couple of weeks before the game. When we got there, it was sold out. I would buy in advance if possible.

Don't expect tickets to be available from the box office on the day of the game. Games are often sold out months in advance, but there are usually good tix available for a reasonable (for Scottsdale) price on game day on StubHub.
They can be purchased online at the Stadium's website, or in person at Box Office.
