They only book 2 weeks in advance.you leave a message on answer machine with reservation an they'll contact you if they accept.lots of luck.took me 3 years to get a res.they do have a bar where you can sit enjoy an app.if you're late they might have an open table on week nights.

This is a real problem. They are closed Mondays. Supposedly they take calls Tues thru Friday between 12 pm and 4 pm. If line is busy, just keep calling. I have heard people stop there in person after 4 pm to make reservations.
Go there! If there's just two of you, sit at the bar...no res needed
