Yeah, it's one of the quirks/idiosyncracies that imparts it's charm. We often have to repeat dial many times before we get lucky and a person picks up the phone. Timing matters. They're crazy busy early evening. And no one will pick up before 4 pm. You gotta want it. :)
They are popular and thus the phone is busy. As Mark said, keep dialing. I’ve never failed to get through. The good thing is that since COVID thay do take reservations.
